Artist, Director, Dramaturg, Facilitator, Convenor, Trainer & Mentor

I work in performance, community arts, arts & health and organisational development, bringing people, ideas and different forms of expertise together to create, reflect, learn and make things happen.

For over 13 years, I’ve worked with artists, communities, organisations and groups to develop creative work, strengthen collaboration and create spaces for meaningful participation. I work as a director and dramaturg, facilitate creative peer support, mentor artists and practitioners, and design and deliver training and facilitated processes.

I am Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Many Minds, a Bristol-based mental health and performance charity. As a lived-experience and disabled leader, much of my practice is rooted in making creative work with people who experience barriers to participating in the arts. I have directed and facilitated 23+ devised participatory performances with Many Minds, presented at venues including Bristol Old Vic, Bristol City Hall, the Royal West of England Academy and The Wardrobe Theatre.

Alongside my artistic practice, I work with artists, organisations, communities and cultural organisations through:

Directing, Dramaturgy & Outside Eye
Developing devised, participatory and autobiographical performance with professional and non-professional performance makers.

Facilitation & Convening
Bringing people together through workshops, consultations, peer support, board away days and collaborative planning, with a growing interest in inter-organisational convening.

Training & Lecturing
Practical, participatory training in mental health, neurodivergence, accessibility, safeguarding,

community arts and participatory performance.

Peer Supervision & Reflective Practice
Creating spaces for artists and practitioners to reflect on their work, challenges and

creative decisions.

1:1 Mentoring & Access Support
Supporting artists with creative and organisational development, alongside tailored one-to-one

access support.

Access, Participation & Community Arts Consultancy
Helping artists and organisations develop more accessible, inclusive approaches

to participation.

“I believe creativity is innate in all of us, and deeply connected to how we make
sense of the world, connect with others and find our way through difficult times.”

I’m based in Bristol and work locally and further afield.
